bike to work week
It is shaping up to be a wonderful weather week here in Northeast Ohio (I know I don't want to work), but a great chance to try commuting to work.
Here is a list of some of the happenings this week in the Cleveland area for Bike to Work Week:
Ride of Silence - 05/15,
Old Brooklyn Pedal For Prizes - 05/19,
Bike for Beck - 05/19,
And of course, the granddaddy of them all:
Bike to Work Day on 05/18!

lets beat some other cities...
The Cleveland Bike Challenge is a program to get people out and riding their bikes for fun and for transportation. The challenge part is to try and get your community to beat other communities around the US (like Pittsburgh). The challenge runs from May 1st to August 31st, and is free to compete. The program nationally is done in co-operation by League of American Bicyclists, Bikes Belong, and Endomondo - a mobile based sports and fitness tracking community. Locally it is promoted by Bike Cleveland, the Bike Rack, and others. And you could possibly win some prizes!
